Title: BL for Aero-Naut Classic sportsboat
Post by: tica on December 20, 2012, 07:56:38 pm
Hi there
Took the wife to the yearly Xmas gathering at the model boat club where we have some fun playing Bingo and offcause she won  >>:-(

She got the Aero-Naut Classic kit, she will build it but I will have to do the electronics.

Question is what BL setup will fit this "small" boat ?

Driveshaft will be a 4mm setup with ballbaring / ceramics, prop not yet decided, but thinking about some brass 3 blade 25-30m.

I just bought a 260Z 11.1V Graupner outrunner and a matching ESC   a better driveshaft (the one in the kit is not worth using)

When the MF is done with her Bluenose II I hope that she will post the build her on Mayhem

Well done, nice wee kit.
Should think it will fly with that motor and prop, although I'm no expert.
A build, with photos would be cool, and await with batted breath  :-))
cheers

It sails perfect with a 7.4V Lipo think I will test with a 11.1V when the wife isn't watching  ok2
