Hi i bought a boat kit about 25 years called waverider & built the hull which is 72cm long x 24cm wide 14cm @ bow & 9cm @ stern .
I've decided to try & finish it :embarrassed: , the problem is I know nothing about the rest (ie) what motor/volts/prop & shaft/type & size of battery, and would be grateful for any help
P.S Hoping to finish it for my grandsons!
Many thanks Woody :-))

I think the boat in question is a Norstar "Waverider" which is a little bigger than my Wavemaster. I don't know a great deal about them but you can have a look at

Thanks for all your help and information :-) . I have seen a boat like it on you tube. The boat is a Norstar waverider, I'll take a picture of my boat and will put it on the website when I have fathomed out how to do it.

A lot depends on your budget, prices vary and the quality reflects this. hmm heres my suggestion then. Id go with a 700 size motor, spinning a 40 mm 2 blade propeller. An m4 propshaft, not sure on length but you can order what length you want from marks model bits. Connect it to the motor with a huco coupling. Power threw either an mtroniks or action esc, i cant tell you what amp rating though. 8.4v nimh battery maybe, try component shop for that.
