Title: Old Marblehead
Post by: Nordsee on January 23, 2013, 09:59:17 am
While browsing thriugh a Model Maker Plans Catalogue ( Issue 2, price 30P) I saw several models that did the "Rembember that? Oh very nice!" but was looking for a plan of a Marblehead with a hull I could build myself, ditto Sails and Rigging, so it didn't cost as much as a secondhand car! RC gear I have, I came across one, named Genie plan Nr MM 1175, I looked in the X List but no sign of it. Does anyone know owt about her? I know she won't keep up with the modern Sailing machines, but at least I can join in! Also I could be a better sailor than some of them and still be competitive. There was another model that caught my interest, she is a Land Yacht, named " Sand Fairy Ann" Plan number MM 466, sort of thing you can sail on a local car park. Anyone out there help me? Been out of circulation for the last few weeks, but hope to be back more often now...

Nordsee, Hello.

This link HERE (http://youtu.be/kNCm6xAyAC8) points to a video of my Marblehead.  It was built from plans available from Traplet; click HERE (http://www.trapletshop.com/gb/p/12475/pocahontas).

Cheers!

Robert.

hello, yes I would appreciate that. How can I pay you? Shall I send you Euros in a letter? Difficult for me to get pounds Sterling here. Look forward to your reply, Jim.
