Having looked at the website, the whole project seems to be in cloud cuckoo land to me!

The ship has sunk, the machinery spaces are flooded and irreplaceable fittings have been stolen by metal thieves etc. The 'estimate' to bring her back into service is £14m - the actual cost could easily be three times that, I'd hate to think what new boilers alone might cost. And that is assuming that the hull is in fact sound when it is very likely that much of the plating will now be too thin and require replacing. Just imagine what a rewire would cost too!

And then, if by some miracle, they do get her working again, the intention is to use her as a coastal cruising vessel when the much smaller and attractive PS Waverley can't support herself in this way and needs regaular cash injections to keep her going.

Save your money chaps!
