hi, I'm new to the forum and fairly new to RC boating (1 year)
I started of with a second hand yacht "Robbe Comptesse" which is most enjoyable.
Then I got a fishing boat but I can't identify it. It's of a plank on frame construction and looks like a kit, with some white metal fittings. I was told it was built in the 70's. It bears the number 223. Can you identify it?
Now my third project is a restoration and rejuvination of Robbe's Smit Hunter which I recently acquired.

not without photos, lol........but from the sounds of it it might be a Billing boat kit called either Crabbencutter or Cux...about 18- 22 inches long
post us some pics and we'll have a far better chance of ident for you.
neil.

Hmmmmm, good one!
About what length is it?

well.....it certainly has the Gallows for hauling the nets from Billing, but I can't remember a billing kit like that...the Nordcap is a different looking boat, unless the builder modified it.
neil.

That is a billings nordkapp hull

Looks like a New Maquettes French fishing trawler. The new version Le Marignan has a slightly different wheelhose superstructure.
