Hi Brian

Not much happening with my 1:50 scale Armidale but working on a few in other scales.

Four Armidales in 1:72nd scale and moulding some in resin at 1:350 scale.

Hi Brian,

Had one of Steve's 1:50 hull and plans but gave it to another TF72 member here in Vic that just moved to WA. As much as I would have liked an Armidale, with current commitments - I'd never get around to it.

At least it's gone to a good home.

Come to think of it, that's 2 x sjbatche Armidale hulls I gave away - DickyD got one a couple of years ago and that was well deserved :-)

To date, that's 3 x hull and plans I've given away - what a generous sod :-)) %) O0

Hi Martin
Wasn't Dickies a 1:72?   We had quite a bit of correspondance about it.
I hope it has gone to a good home.
I met a youngster, Nick? yesterday, who has built his own fibreglass hulls at 1:50 and has Steves plans.   His is 'Pirie'.
He has promised to bring it along to our lake sometime so we can have 2 sailing together.

Brian,

Yeah, Dicky's was a 1:72 hull that I got Steve to make me some time back. It was the perfect size to send via post without costing an arm and a leg. I remember when Dicky got his package - he was over the moon with it.
I often spoke to Dicky on Skype so I got to see his build first hand. He was so impresssed with Steve's fittings and constantly reminded me of the quality and great price - he only wished he could buy local stuff with the same quality and price.

A plug for Steve. :-))

I'm with you, I hope it went to a good home :-)

Might try and make it to Illawong sometime in the future but it is so far from my place.
