Hi,
 How can I turn off the emails I'm getting after replying on a thread on here today I have been bonbarded with them because I have made a few posts I have looked in 'my profile' but cannot find anything  {:-{

In any, of the emails that you receive, is the option to turn off, not receive further notifications.
 
Also, if you go back to the thread, the option to opt out of notifications, (unnotify) for that thread is also located at the bottom right of the thread.
 
Now I am going to get emails about you  {-) {-) :-)) :-))

 two ways,if you dont click on and read the reply you wont be notified of any more on that subject.
If you DO click on it you will see the option of "un notify" and if you click on that it will ask again "notify/un notify?" so you click on unnotify that is it.

Go to the thread that you want to stop and click on 'unnnotfy', bottom right of thread, no more emails about that thread.
Use it all the time, as sometimes the 'email' option, doesn't always work for me.

Have you tried this ?
 
Go to your "Profile" - "Modify Profile" - "Notifications"
 
...and check your settings are correct.
