apollogies for my lack of knowledge , has any one any knowledge on the billing samson2 when it was first out etc(what year) etc and what causes the motours to run eratically  ,do i need a new speed controler  etc ,regards pad

Don`t know the boat but number one problem is the proximity of the Rx to the motors, you couldn't find a worse place ! Get the Rx as far away from the motors as possible and route the antenna clear of them too.  Cant see any suppressors on the rear of the motors, are any fitted?  Modern speed controller(s) seems logical.  Have you a picture of the whole boat, just for interest?

Is that the aerial wire laying directly on the motor? if so get that away from there at the very least.

If you have another ESC try it as the Hitech gold bricks wernt the most reliable
