Hi there earlier I promised to upload my wife's build of the model and here it comes  8)

Electrics:
Graupner Compact BL 260Z 11.1V 1380KV
Grupner ESC 18A
7.4V 4200mA Lipo
Ø30mm 3 blade hydroprop

And then the problems started, the 2 bottom pieces didn't fit  >>:-(

A panel of 1mm x. birch was bought in and new pieces were made.

All joints has been stregthen with 2K epoxy and the it got 3 coats of varnis

Engine in, the original propshaft has been replaced with a 4mm stainless one.

She lost the prop but sailed perfect  8)

picture 4 shows me where I'm going wrong.... i need more clamps!
 Nice build btw.  how straightforward are the instructions? My son wants to build his own boat this summer

Instructions is ok but not great but read it twice, measure twice and cut once dry fit and then glue you should be on the right track

Just tried it out with a 3S pack (approx 100g lighter than the 2S pack) and it hit its + max power as it started to wobble but hey Mrs. Tica hasn't been on more than 50% throttle with the 2S pack and I can use the 3S for another project
