Hornby  &  Herald assisted on the launch in Belfast. It was the White Star line's other tugs which helped at Southampton.

After her sea trials and she arrived at Southhampton she was met by tugs of the Red Funnel Line: AJAX, HECTOR, VULCAN, NEPTUNE and HERCULES. As far as I know these tugs were also on station 7 days later when she departed.

According to http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/titanic-tugs.html (http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/titanic-tugs.html)

"But it is the six vessels from its fleet we now consider-six tugs which assisted Titanic when she departed Southampton on her maiden voyage 10 April 1912, two of which helped the departing liner avert an emergency that might have well caused cancellation of the sailing date and the start of her maiden voyage.

Albert Edward, Hercules, Vulcan, Ajax, Hector, Neptune"

Details for a painting at http://www.marine-artist.com/ (http://www.marine-artist.com/) say, and depict the following;

"Historically accurate, the painting was painstakingly researched using existing Titanic photographs and records and shows Titanic as she is edged away from the dockside, the Neptune towing and tugs Albert Edward, Hercules and Vulcan at her bow. With Titanic Captain Edward J. Smith on the bridge the huge liner was maneuvered into the River Test..."
