Title: Bored of waiting
Post by: essex2visuvesi on May 30, 2013, 08:58:40 am
Having to stay home and wait for delivery of some car parts.  (£8,000 of parts for a Triumph TR6 I'm restoring)
Delivery is sometime between 9am and 5pm and I'm at home alone until 3.
What are the odds that i nip to the lav for a "sit down" the delivery guy will turn up?  {-)

Ordered a lot of the parts from Rimmer bros and a triple weber conversion from revington TR as is a US spec twin carb version.
We looked at retro fitting the standard PI system but for the work involved, the triple webers are easier and give more power and some say more reliability.
In the post today should be a full engine rebuild kit, a full set of suspension rubbers, brake pipes, shocks, brake disks, pads, calipers and a lot more to boot.
Glad the money didn't come from my bank account lol
