@jaymac:
I presume you found this page:

It looks like upmarket cheap Chinese to me. I have a few Chinese boats (Hurricane, Discovery, Monsoon) and have seen a number of other similar ones.
In looks, it is reminiscent of the Shunbo Surmount but is 100mm longer - similar deck and sail styling
The rigging methods remind me a bit of the Joysway range (eg Dragon Force). As with most of these boats, the rigging method and material looks substandard - if it were mine I would replace the shrouds before it went near the water....
It has a really strange setup with the sailwinch - the short winch arm with double haul would likely be underpowered on a 900mm boat in anything but light conditions - looks like they are using two servos in parallel to drive the sailwinch arm???? Many boats this size use a drum winch - slower but much more powerful....
All this waffle is probably no help, but you may find a clue in there....
If you are looking for a cheap 900mm performer, the Shunbo Legend is worth a look. If you prefer the classic look, the Shunbo Surmount 800mm may be an option - these are both around US$100, need to add a 2 channel radio and some lead in the keel.

just looked at your link mrpenguin , the boat in question looks very similar to some of the old kyosho mast and boom set ups , the sheet control is a copy of that used by graupner on there true blue , which is unfortunatly underpowered in all but very light airs !

Yes Mr Penguin that was the site I first looked at but the Site I am referring to in my MOAN is the one referred to by Slug AKA Tony its a dealer in England which appears methinks to to be no longer around
Thanks for the info and views much appreciated .My interest purely looking for something and saw her on Ebay one guy wants £289 Buy NOW {-) thats a a £100 quid more than new though there is another straight bid
Thanks again for the input

good morning..if not to big try an old Marblehead with shallow keel,they sail well and look majestic on the water,plenty about tony
-
an old r36 also has a shallow keel , not much shorter than a meter class boat but around the same performance
-
all the rigging and servo setup using 2 servos in tandem on the sail winch look the same as my groupner true blue
almost identical
