Title: Dragon Force 65
Post by: g4yvm on July 08, 2013, 02:31:15 pm
Having sailed my Odyssey for a few years my son has finally stolen it from me.    I am very very tempted to replace it with a dragon force 65.  I would LIKE a 1m design but the car is only so big and I wonder whether id get that much more fun from something much bigger than the Odyssey anyway.

So is the Dragon Force all its cracked up to be? Certainly at 150 quid rtr it seems a very good deal.

i also have a fiesta which is similar size and more robust cost more and you build from a kit
they both sail well.

Anymore reports on the Dragon Force 65 ?
What parts are fragile?
What is it like in a blow?
Would a Fiesta be a better investment?

There are a number of companies producing their versions of this boat and are offered in range of completion. Worth a few minutes to review these discussions!

Have you considered building a kit? Lots of good choices which may yield a better result. If interested here is link that provides a list of kit builders (sailboats) that could be of interest see post #91 for the list . http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=767639 (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=767639)

Here are a few of popular kits around the planet to consider: V 32, Soling 1M, CR 914, T-27 and T-3 and Victoria
