Post by: U-33 on July 24, 2013, 02:34:31 pm
Does anyone know the availability of a minature sound board to represent three turbine motors firing up, spinning up, running at full power, then shutting down? All to be controlled by the esc?

How about RCA Soundsystems in Canada ?
I have one of his sound cards for my Centurion tank. Somewhat cheaper and a great bloke to deal with.

And a ready supply of spares available in the UK, too! http://www.screwfix.com/c/heating-plumbing/black-solvent-weld-waste/cat831700 (http://www.screwfix.com/c/heating-plumbing/black-solvent-weld-waste/cat831700)
I think I heard Richard hit the floor when he saw the price.................. Never mind, Rich; the other one's only two hundred Canadian dollars.....plus shipping.......plus VAT........ "Pipe Dream" was seldom more appropriate, eh?

Price was a touch frightening, Dave...and the lack of available installation space isn't helping either.

The Canadian one looks viable, my ladyfriend is coming over from Vancouver later this year, so carriage is free, but some careful measuring is needed before my flexible friend gets another hammering.
