Hi Woodley,

A 120A ESC is extreme overkill for that small motor.

Something like this will work too:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRUSHLESS-WATERCOOLED-ESC-60AMP-rc-boat-marine-speed-controller-60a-/390648910818?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item5af47d53e2

It's a rather poor ebay site, regarding the (lack of) data with the products listed...

Compared to the HK I find the price a bit steep though...
As it's watercooled, you may even get away with this one:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__19833__40A_Water_Cooled_Brushless_Boat_ESC_w_3A_BEC.html

The motor you linked to has gobs of torque, compared to the brushed motor that powered the Lightning 46 in stock form, so please start with a small prop (28-30 mm) untill you know what the boat can take.

On 3S you'll be right in the sweet spot with 30.000 rpm under load.

Regards, Jan.
