Does anyone use sanding sealer? I can't get any locally except stuff that's only good for a wax finish. And I've been told you can't post solvents anymore.

Here's two suppliers who do ship the stuff. You might also check Deluxe Materials' website for alternatives e.g. EeZee Kote (water-based sanding sealer, which I can recommend).

The stuff from CMB dave mentioned is good stuff, bit smelly tho

Clear Cellulose (If you can still get it) and a slack handful of Talcum powder. O0 Cellulose thinners if you're going to use the former for Tissue covering the hull.

Thanks for all the tips , I have found a local supplier of the Deluxe range of products, will check them out. And I have just bought some Halfords clear laquer for my son's plastic model he's making, might have just 'borrow' some of that back!
