Title: Timed relay
Post by: paul1985 on August 11, 2013, 10:52:57 pm
Hello everybody
Could I use a timed relay to turn a pump on and off to simulate
Water cooling out of the engines in my 1/12 severn lifeboat

Thank you
Paul

You could as long as it is a self priming pump or below the waterline.
Why not just have water pickups aft of the props which will give a proportional flow, is much simpler and more realistic as the flow on the real boat is proportional to the speed of the salt water pump driven by the engine.
