Title: brushless Motor wiring
Post by: Peter Ellis on September 09, 2013, 07:15:30 pm
Hello,

I recently purchased the 38mm 1250 kv brushless motor (http://www.ip-engineering.co.uk/acatalog/tn_DSC02537.JPG)and Brushless 45 amp speed controller (http://www.ip-engineering.co.uk/acatalog/tn_DSC02522.JPG) as in the attached pictures.

However , the three leads that go to the motor are something of a mystery, on the ESC they are labelled C B A , but the wires are all blue and the motor is unmarked .  does anyone have the same set up or know which goes to which  <:(   .  They were purchased from IP Engineering / Vintage Model Boats to go into a 34" Crash Tender

many thanks

Peter

It doesnt matter just connect them and the esc does the rest. HOWEVER if you need to change direction of the motor eg press forward on the tx and the motor runs backwards, you simply swap 2 of the wires over and the motor runs the other way.
