Managed to get a ticket for my first visit to the boat show this year. Just wondered if anyone here has ever been and is there anything there to interested our modelling habits?

I used to attend when I had a boat myself. It is interesting if you like full size boats but most of them are made of plastic!

Just go and drool don't cost too much that way.
You need a Six figure cheque book to buy anything
decent.
Look for the wooden boats
Some of the finishes put modellers to shame.

We usually top up on our stainless fixings, NBWs etc, usually some nice models to oggle at, and look out for Kittiwake Boats in the small boat enclosure, his other models are 24' King George V Battleship and 16' Submarine, both sit in models.
