Bang&Olufson systems are one of my other passions, I have 3 models , a 2000 (early), a 7700 ( mid era ) and have just acquired a beocenter 9300 ( this is the last model that I like the look of ).
The restoration can be somewhat time consuming and expensive but there are a few bargains on the bay of E occasionally, most speakers will need re-foaming and don't mention the words stylus / cartridge unless you've won on the horses, but very enjoyable to sit back a listen to your favourite music on an old 70's/80's analogue system, even a cassette in the 90's one is a world away from today's digital stuff.
