Title: mini cedar yacht 1metre

any information on the yacht would be much appreciated thank you.
especialy regarding the rigging. Type etc the sails made by house martin
ive been told the yacht is 6 to 7 years old plsnk on frame by paul lucas

There are many thousands of 1 metre yachts worldwide... the most common rigging setup is as a sloop or Bermuda rig consisting of one mast approximately in line with the front edge of the keel fin, carrying a jib and a mainsail.... the two sails are generally controlled by a single winch and the jib is self tacking.

I find it simple and automatic. You just post the pictures and it resizes them as you add them. You can specify a number of different resolutions.
For example I just attached the image below (the original is nearly 2000 kb) - Robosizer reduced it to the file size here (83Kb)

Happy to be able to help re photo sizing, the small file limit on this forum is a challenge without a tool like RoboSizer.

The rig is the most common type - a Bermuda or sloop rig, consisting of two sails, a mainsail (the aft sail) and a self-tacking jib (the foresail).
The setup you have looks to be very well made and the rigging and the sails look like good quality materials.
From the look of it, everything is put together correctly. To get the boat sailing Ok, the sails will need some adjustment, it all looks a bit tight to me.... When not using the boat, let the tensions off a bit to avoid creasing the sails, also leave the hatch open so the boat is nice and dry inside. (Make sure you seal that hatch up before you go sailing!!! White electrical tape around a flat lid or some sticky back would do the job and look Ok)

Here is a link to a video that is a good primer on sail tuning, it will get you started. The boat in the video has lots of adjusters, but you can achieve all the adjustments with the adjusters you have available. Do the adjustments in the recommended order.
