Title: MOTOR & ESC HELP
Post by: Seacommander on October 18, 2013, 08:54:56 pm

Hello.

I've purchaed a very large Gentlemans Launch, Quite an old model and in nice conditon.

It's 54" long buy 14" wide and similar hull to Vosper Launch ect... I was thinking of puttingg a MFA 850 in it and a 40 Amp Mtronice controller.

I want  / envisage moderate performance using a 12v Gel cel

But I would be 'very pleased' for alternative suggestions

Thanks

Mark

Ditch the 850 and the gell cell if you want performance let alone a decent run time.....stick a 900 series motor water cool it 55mm 2 bladed prop running on 2x12v stick packs and watch it fly and get at least 30mins running time as opposed to around 8 esc an action one
