what is best filler to use to fill gap between wood and grp please

stevens easy sand car body filler from any good car shop it mixes with hardner to form a very smooth paste and is very easy to sand
leaving all areas smooth this is what was recommended to me by Waverley models some years ago
fantastic stuff about £6 a tin
