Well not quite my regular craft. I'm a member of the Maritime Volunteer Service and Curlew is our regional vessel. I'm on the helm most of the time but I need some more hours before I'm allowed to call myself coxwain.
She's a Nelson 34, propelled by twin Perkins 6.354's. Ex police, ex customs, still game!

She's been ashore for the last two months having plenty of work done, but she went back in on Saturday and managed 14.2kn against a 2kn tide so very happy with her. No pics as yet of her post refit but once the last few bits are finished she can go back into service and we can get the RIB out and have another photoshoot.
