Title: Vosper RAF fireboat crash tender
Post by: sextant on October 29, 2013, 09:28:10 pm
I have aquired a 46"X13" beam Fireboat approx 40years old sadly in need of a complete refurbishment. It is powered by a rather large Taycol motor onto a single propshaft. As this is going to be a long term prject I amconsidering using twin motors and props,I would appreciate some help as to what size motors and esc,s to use, either brushed or brushless.I am still a relative novice to model power boating and R/c.The model looks as if it is an early Aerokits boat.Looking at its dimensions I presume it is 1/12 scale.
                                                                Many thanks Sextant.
