Title: Hello from Winnipeg Canada
Post by: Doug James on November 01, 2013, 02:17:28 pm
Hello All
I'm rejoining the Form after a few years away.I noted that there is an old post of mine under Steam dated July 2009 on page 12 of the tug Sequin if anyone cares to take a look.
Other builds are, the Douglas Greg tug, Mary Ann 45 ton cutter from the 60's. At this time I'm building the Bluenose from a Billing Boat kit. With some luck I might get the Bluenose completed this winter I have been at this one for three years so it's time to get it completed.

Hi Doug

Nice to hear more from another modeller in Canada - I was in Alberta with Irishcarguy during September.
So pictures of your Bluenose will be expected, especially as it must soon be getting quite cold in Winnipeg.

Regards Dave

Thanks all for the welcome back, and yes it's starting to get cold around here. About the only things you will see on our ponds are a few geese that haven't gone South to warmer parts and thin ice starting to work it way across the ponds.
As for the Bluenose I hope  to post  some photo's once I get back to it,but not likely until after Christmas.
