Title: Prawn Trawler "Seatech-Lady" 93 build.
Post by: B.B on November 14, 2013, 04:42:41 am
Yep back again, built this model "Seatech-Lady" in 1993, she is taken from 3 trawlers we fished beside in the N.P.F (Northern Prawn Fishery)made from the same plans. I was fortunate enough to be loaned the plans by the owner of Seatech Ltd the designers. (I actauly built this the same time as the other model I showed here earlier the "Dorothy-Anne).
Same way of the construction of the hull, then using the cotton cloth and resin to seal the inside of the hull.
next lot of photo's showing that after the top deck attached , fitting the stuanchion post for the front wave breaker , exhuast stacks and the Top w-house.Then the finished model and of her sitting beside the "Dorothy-Anne", and after arriving home her float test.......

That's a great looking boat.

I love the jump from photo 148 to photo 151, makes it look like it took ten minutes to finish it to that quality :)
