Evening All,
After chewing up the prop on my Dusseldorf last weekend, I've make up my mind to get some Brass one's. it runninn on the Navy 3/1 gearbox's and was running on 50mm Robbe props but to be honest they don't have much pitch on them. what would be the best prop for them
cheers
Tim

What performance do you want from her.

Hi Bob, I see then running like a PT boat before but not sure how they are meant to run.

I would try 40mm as brass props have far more pitch.
Just buy the cheapest or borrow some and see if the performance is what you want.
With 3:1 gearboxes you are unlikely to overload as I have run 100mm props on a similar set up.

I've found this video here, don't know if this is full speed or not but could give you some idea?

Bonjour,
If that speed is ok for you, see HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StLMxKPmShU), I can ask which engines and propellers my club president has chosen.

thanks, I been advised to but on ether 35 or 40mm brass prop's, hopping to test on 35mm one in the next couple of week. it the normal robbe gearbox that came with it about 10+ years ago lol, like the sound unit in the video :-))
