Title: Motor yacht
Post by: Eddy Matthews on May 17, 2006, 10:14:11 pm
I've been spending a bit of time getting my 1920's luxury motor yacht ready for it's first trials on the water....

So here it is in all it's glory - It runs superbly. So now that I'm happy with the performance I can get onto all the detailing that still needs adding to it!

The model is based on the Dave Metcalf german Schnellboot hull, heavily modified at the front, 57" long with a beam of 8". Power is twin MFA 540 motors geard 6:1, 43mm 3 bladed props, and 10 "D" sized NiMh's.

Regards
Eddy
