Title: Source for rigging blocks
Post by: richald on March 04, 2014, 09:36:23 am
Anybody know where I could source some single/double
rigging blocks to replace these rather poorly moulded
white metal ones?

They are for a 1:32 Clyde Puffer.

I have trawled through Cornwall Model Boats extensive
parts & fittings lists without success.

Have you looked at the Amati wooden blocks? You would need to drill and fit eyebolts made of wire though. Not a difficult job.

Yes I did, and your suggestion re drilling and fitting eyelets
did pass through my mind - I shall go back and have a look.

Thanks

Take a look at these.....

Various sizes so you should find some that are close to what you require. I bought a shedload for my sailing smack and the quality is outstanding if a little pricy.
