This is a my first RC boat, it is made from thin plywood covered in a patterned fabric sealed with fiberglass resin, the mast is made from an old fishing pole and a wood dowel.

I have just spent an hour or so trawling the net for footy plans, just wondering which one this is.
Want to have a play at sailing and not looking at spending a fortune to give it a go.

Hi Pete: The Voyager (I finally remembered its name) is from a design called the Razor plans can be found here (http://footy.rcsailing.net/plans.php). Sadly I lost most my construction pics in a computer restore several years back but it was pretty simple to build and fairly cheap too the whole thing including the radio equipment cost less then just the servos on my current model.

Thank you both,

The Razor was one of the models that really took my fancy and plans were downloaded so it looks like that maybe the one to build.

And in all my searching i never came across the Sail Footy UK site so that one is bookmarked for future pojects

regards Pete
