hi, i bought this boat today at coalville...its running a small brushless motor.....can anyone tell me what it is please?? scratch built? kit? year? etc etc

Amati did one of these as a kit but I don't think its that one.

Also Carrera (of the slot car fame) did one as well

But I don't think its that one either as that was all plastic

it could well be this one as its looks to have laser cut ply frames.....the boat isnt as quick as i was expecting but i guess a higher kv motor may well take care of this situation 8)

grace....I think you are correct......an Amati Arno XI Ferrari 800kg Hydroplane 1953 (A1604) %) ...could be old.......& looking in good condition :-))
The real difference is the Amati was reported as a ply covered hull.....whereas your model appears to be individually planked on the hull top
Would individual planking not better represent the full size craft? %).....
Seems like you have collected a real bargin......Derek

It's Monday, it's cold and damp outside, so therefore I'm double grumpy!
