Hello,

New member signing in.

I live in Caister-on-Sea in Norfolk,UK.

I've just started building my first boat.

Sealight Puffer, from Mountfleet.

I retired early and started this new hobby.

Had a trial sail, on the Waterways, in Great Yarmouth yesterday. Went well, at least it didn't sink.

Lots to learn,

TOF

Hi TOF and welcome.

I'm new here also, but have been made most welcome so I'm sure you will enjoy the forum. :-))

I bought a cheap paddling pool for testing as I'm not too sure my fish would thank me for spinning propellers in their territory and Turing the pond into a whirlpool. :}

Fish are used to being disturbed, waterfall, airation, and a pair of visiting mallard ducks.

The puffer I'm building is flat bottomed so propeller is out of the way.

Pond weed is another matter...
