hi all
can any one tell me how well the ragazza sails very little about it on the net I believe that it has not long come out
all that i have found out so far is that the sails are half way between an A&B rig I presume they have done this for inexperienced skippers so that they don't get frustrated, (though seems a bit odd as they list it as a competition ready IOM
I only compeat at the local club so not to worried if it cannot quite mix with purpose built IOMs
any thoughts

We have a member just bought one.
Load of ..........
Even a monsoon out sails it.
Your club IOMs would be on the next race by the time Regazza
had done a lap.
The above member has brought his Seawind to the pond
since as it is twice as good.
Regazza would not measure to race with IOMs either.

There are older IOMs to be had for the same price as the rate
boats.
Someone in the club may want to sell.
I got my Marblehead by mentioning at the lake that I was
looking for one.
An old IOM will probably have at least two rigs and therefore
give you more sailing.
A rig in between a
A and B would not measure up.
Look on eBay and the MYA website and get an IOM.
You won't regret it.

Malc,
I bought a complete secondhand IOM for less than £300 with two rigs. It sails brilliantly. I can race with others when I want and keep up, or have a brilliant time just pottering on the pond. Everyone at the club gave advice to help set it up so I didn't feel left out when I started.
Buy an IOM; you'll never regret it.

Here is a link to another RC forum that can provide some good information on this boat.

Suggest the boat observed needed some fine tuning and perhaps a different skipper?? {-)
Also the new RTR Seawinds are out at least here in the US. Here is a link with lots of details on the newest Seawind release. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1359413&page=2
