ok2 Hi guys, I have obtained a large compressor and two professional spray guns which I am going to use to spray large areas such as hulls. I use oil based vanishes and paints, what I want to know is how much should I thin them to get a nice finish, a ratio of paint to thinners say of 2:1 or 3:1 all I need is a starting point and then practice. I bought the kit at a car boot sale just as it was closing down and got it for a fiver as the lady didn't want to take back home, unusual for me to go to a car boot sale and come away with a bargain.
