I am after a motor for the above tug that has a 70mm 4 blade prop and a 12v 7amp battery what do you suggest thanks

A 900 type motor would do the job very well.

I use Mobile Marine Models T12. I have had them in 3 boats now, all tugs around 40-48 inches. Lots of torque and I get about 90 mins out of a 12v/7AHr Batt as long as I don't hammer it.

900 motor all the way and not Amp hungry neither

Hi, Mine is fitted with an MFA, Como drills 919D and 6:1 gearbox. Seems to work fine. :-)) Graham
