Hi Prop Shaft.

Output is 1 watt - I don't think you will hear it more than a few feet away. I use a 10 watt amplifier driven by an mp3 player in my police boat and it isn't too loud.

I think we can do better than that - and for a nicer price. 1W is not a lot of use for a model boat

I use the action p100 in my Arun Lifeboat and to me it's worth every penny. :-)) :-)) :-))

Thanks, Dave. This Engels unit doesn't do engine sounds which vary with the throttle, though. It's just twenty fixed noises (e.g. horns, bells, alarms) which you can trigger by judicious jabbing of the transmitter stick. Your P100 is probably running through a 15W amplifier, which is much more what's needed.
