Hello
i am a user of this great model ship forum since some years. Here i have found a lot of interesting topics and tips, which was helpful for my own project.
Today, i like to present my steamship here, built between August 2008 and June 2014.
The steamship Venture was motivated by the ship with the same name from the movie King Kong from 2005.
Well, it was not possible to find plans. So the model is not really a scale copy.
The Venture was made from plywood, plastic sheets and a lot of things which was found in the office and in the drawers of my wife.
Please see the linked video with a lot of images and the movie of the maiden voyage.
Hope you enjoy
best regards
Lothar

Great job ! Some innovative ideas for the structures, door hinges etc. (presumably they were coffee stirrers ?) The video was well made and entertaining too.
