Hi All
I am using a P102 ,2 12v 9 amp hr batteries and would like to build in the charging circuit/switching . Also using Action wiring diagram for Fairmount Alpine . Is there a diagram for this and the switching so I do not power up the rest of the circuit.

See Fig 12 (Click on it to enlarge). Red and Black wires on RHS go to P102. Switch in one position powers the circuit; in the other makes both sockets live.

Thank you Mr Milbourn for that ,I made a typing error should have read P 103 will this make a difference ,my gut feeling says it will .Am I right in thinking if I stabbed the wires into The P102 damage would be done as I would be after the P103 .It would not be right if I went into power out on the P103 still somewhat unsure on where to stab in +VE and -VE, more I have thought about it the place to tap in would be +VE on the P 103 input am I right or wrong ? The top and bottom of it is I just do not know .Thanks again

Yep, it certainly will - but not a lot needs changing.

Thank you yet again Inertia, I will contact Component Shop for the bits and pieces . I have a fair bit invested in Action gear like a lot of people on here. I do not want to get that smell we all know and hate

Thought the idea was if you don't understand something then ask a question .
I have a parallel board fitted to one of my boats but take the batteries out and charge then singly .
What I didn't understand was how the lower battery was earthed Dave , I have no idea what a Schottky diode is or how it works .

If you turn the P103 over you will see that all of the -ve terminals are common.

I have 3 sla batteries on my Hybernia.
I use a 9pin 'D' socket, mounted under a hatch cover, that I plug the triple charger into.

Just to note, after charging be sure to ventilate the boat prior to operation.
I had a friend that put a brand new 6v 4ahr battery into his submarine.
He sealed it up in his water tight compartment, charged it up and took it to the pond.
The submarine all set up, he set sail, made a turn and commenced a dive.
Upon operation of the ballast pump the water tight chamber exploded.
Not much damage.
He repaired everything and subsequently repeated the operation above.
Turned out that the battery was venting hydrogen during the charge, and his
ballast pump motors were "sparky". Now he has a vent hole that is open during charging, and
he runs a vacuum on the hole before sealing up the WTC for sailing.
Be sure to ventilate the model before sailing if your are charging batteries in the boat.
