I'm guessing if you managed to get it up there, there must be no internals?
That's all well and good but where is the other one going when we pick it up next Sunday?
You could always fit some hooks in the ceiling and suspend it from them, although I can just hear your nice lady when she stays at your's, having a U boat hanging over her head, she would be constantly doing this... %)

Correct Ian, it's just the bare hull/deck/conning tower. I've just put it on eBay, I just haven't room for two big U boats in here...if it sells, then there will plenty of room for the new one next weekend. If not...well, there's always the attic, plenty of room up there.

The ladyfriend...hmm, yes. I don't think there's anyway she would share the bedroom with a U boat...last time she came over I had to part with my big Victor class boat. Women, huh?

Apart from the fact that it's a boat hull, my wife could well relate to that photo :}
There's a pair of 1:14 scale helis on our wardrobe!
