hello
make sure it is the one in the photo. there is a cheaper version were the exhaust does not have a separate
pipe to go out side.

Had one for years, maintenance free with the exception of changing the filters. I have never found a trace of spray dust outside of the spraying platform

I know that someone has mentioned on a previous thread on these booths that your supposed to stick the end of the pipe out of the window and not as the picture shows, blowing in your face, I would have thought that was obvious, but there again.......

To make the whole setup really convenient to use mine is connected to a permanent shower vent through the wall with a flap on the outside to prevent air (cold in winter) coming back down the pipe into the workshop when the unit is not in use. To date there are no signs of spray dust on the outside wall either.

Yes you can use it anywhere that has a window or other opening for the extractor pipe to go through. Mine is in a garage with no windows so I vent via a combination of flexible pipe and 4" soil pipe through the gable end about ten ft from the ground so that's a run of about 8' horizontal and 6' vertical with no appreciable loss in extraction power. It might be worth checking that the vent pipe does not push the fumes into another window if one is in close proximity, say in the summer when windows are open, especially if it's a neighbours window.

HI Timbo

I bought one last year, brilliant. Buy spare filters, some don't fit, don't expect miracles, wear a mask as well

Well done to you, Spike, for posting this....Ian (IanPAL) and I have been thinking of investing in one of these between us, we both build indoors, so it would be an ideal purchase for us.

A great buy.... I wouldn't be without mine.  The only issue I find is that its a tight fit to get 1:10 scale RC touring car bodies in there and you can only fit half a 1/350 Tirpitz in at a time

I have one of these on the exhaust end of the hose
