Hi,
Just joined Model Boat Mayhem, looking forward to sitting down and having a good browse, I can see from a quick look that there is a huge amount of knowledge on here :-))
A little about myself, I live on the west coast of Scotland, and my shipping/modelling interests are mainly past Clyde/west highland vessels, paddlers/turbines/motor vessels and into the car ferry era.
I don't get as much time for model-making as I would like, but my builds up to this time are two 1:96 ratio static waterline paddlers, one 1:48 paddler based on the Models by Design 'Albion' hull, and I hope to pull the dust sheets off a half finished project sometime soon, MV Lochiel of 1939, a MacBraynes vessel, again based on a fibreglass which hull I acquired some time ago.
Again, looking forward to being part of the form, I can tell I will learn a lot for sure!
all the best,
Clark

Hi,
and thank you all for the welcome! Here are a few not very good photos of one of my models, she is called Marchioness of Lorne. The real ship was built in 1891 for the Caledonian Steam Packet Co. for services on the Clyde.
The model is based on the Albion hull from models by design, as the general dimensions are the same.
Hopefully I have resized correctly, and I will find pics of my other models to post...
regards
Clark
