Title: Help with an adaptor EC5 to Tamiya battery
Post by: BlueWotsit on August 06, 2014, 09:23:19 pm
My latest boat has an ESC with EC5 connectors attached x2

They seem to be the female side.

Does anyone know of someone who can supply an adaptor so my normal NiMh batteries with Tamiya connectors can fit onto these

Im useless at soldering, and needless to say dont want to chop up my batteries as they are used in other boats and cars

Is it these ones?

if so Ill knock you one up :)

A word of advice tho, the tamiya connectors are not very good for higher current applications (No more than 10-15A or they start to melt) the EC5s are much higher rated (some say 120A)
