Hi All
I'm building a HS tug to be used for tug towing , what size (amps) ecs will i need ?

model details
hull length 35"
beam 9"
single screw
prop 3" 4 blade
car fan heater motor to be fitted
running on 12v

i would normally use a 15amp for general sailing but do i need to change it?

cheers

I am using several of these with no problems.
I still have one on Mikes first generation ESC's in a tug which is almost 30 yrs old and going strong.
You will need to phone mike.

A 40 amp ESC about £26-00, not expensive by any means.
