I got this off a mayhem member so thanks Frank
i made a start sanding and removing the glazing this will take a bit of time as doing it between refurbing my crash tender

i have also started to remove the deck and scrape the sticky stuff out after this is done i will resin the inside

All the deck stripped off
god knows what the stuff is in side the hull it smells like putty
also removed the prop shaft with out to much trouble as is very thin and i dont have any props that fit
will put a new one in later

Hi tugs2, is this a Billings Kit?  As it seems to look quite large in your piccys..
I am in the last throws of finishing someone elses start of the old and smaller scale Zwarte Zee (1 : 100).

hi Roy its only the small one as well 5inch beam but  will make a nice boat ive also started to make a new cabins as the old one are a bit past it

Got a bit more done to day i keep sneaking off instead of doing the jobs her in doors has found me to do it always the same get two weeks off and all these jobs appear any way will keep at it

Got the prop shaft in today and found this little motor in a old foam plane i used a similar one just a bit bigger in my torben and that goes really well and the battery lasts hours
I keep putting off resin the inside but will have to make that the next job

Had a go at soldering today i managed to get it to stick but not very tidy a lot of work filing it now
bit more done nothing is stuck down yet that will get done when all the paint work is done
