Hello all
On my ferry I have X3 mtronics viper 15AH ESC. One of them does the BEC to the reciver . ie has all 3 wires in it . the other 2 have 2 wires so there BEC are disabled. The question I have is which cable would I have to put my meter on to measure the current draw , pulled by all the other ESC ,Switchers , servos.

The red and black wires from the esc with all 3 wires connected I think

which one carrys the load , is it the red , black or white?

If you want to measure the total current drawn by all devices then your current meter needs to be fitted in the +(red) lead from your battery.
The red lead on your ESC with BEC active will only be carrying the current drawn by the receiver circuits and servo drivers.

if you want to know how much the total draw from the battery is, then measure at the battery lead. If you want to know how much current the "active" BEC is delivering to the rest of the system, you will need to interrupt the red RX lead and measure there. The "inactive" BEC will still be supplying that ESCs own internal circuits with the 5 volts that they want.
