hi all
the booking office was opened last friday within minutes people booking in ! :-))
well this weekend see's the penultimate round of the 2014 bmprs championship back to nottingham for the 3rd time there seems to be plenty of interest already with bookings from the northeast and the south coast, word seems to have got around that this is a great venue
looking at the results its all down to the final 2 meetings deciding who's going to be the champions and in most of the classes especially deciding 2nd and 3rd places and yet again juniors look to have done very well and putting up a fight for places in A Class :-)) :-)) :-))
so folks if your looking for a great way to spend your sunday why not pack some sandwiches and head down to colwick park theres drinks available and a nice friendly atmosphere from not only from bmprs members but the nottingham boat club also.

Brings back memories at Colwick park, first time I saw the fast boats, ( some ending up stuck in the polystyrenne bouys ) .
My wife used to swim around the other lake and that particular year the fast boats were on the main lake, worked out I could stand and wave, thumbs up as SWMBO swam past, them get to the other lake and watch for anout 10 minutes before I had to get back and wave and smile again.. About 5 times iI did that :}
