Sorry if this is a stupid question but I figured I would ask anyway.
One of my grandsons is very keen on the look of the Aeromarine Challenger 21 but we cannot run IC or really fast electrics on the lake we use. My question is 'would a challenger 21 be ok using a submerged drive rather than a surface drive?'
If it would work i have an idea of setting one up a bit like an MFA Spearfish with submerged drive and a brushless motor that would be fast enough to keep his interest but not fast enough to anger the guardians of the lake.
He is not very keen on building so a hull that comes with deck ready bonded would be ideal.

sorry - i should have posted this in the 'sports' section. Mods please move it if appropriate.
Happy to oblige :-))

The lad's challenger 21 arrived yesterday and he is one happy chap. Having measured it up I have ordered the hardware we need so we can make a start towards the end of next week I hope.

So how is the Challenger going on?
I have 3 of these, 2 for electric motors and one for i.c. Really like these little hulls!

Hi Spearfish
He has nearly finished the Challenger. I will post some pics when it is done.
