Thats good timing, ordered one of those last night and they rang this morning to ask if i also wanted the plans, said yes but did'nt know they were for styrene, never mind. Is this link any good to you, i know the frames look a similar size but it might help

hi

when you get yours, you may have same problem as me, there is a little difference in them and plans do not help as you will  find out

one looks to have longer cut width to it which going by the link I think goes at rear, or as I have it in pic

Hi, yes you're right i probably will have trouble, what about the notches on the frames do they line up in the deck, just had a look at the video on their website it's hard to tell accuratley but possibly the wide one goes to the front. Very little info on the www about them http://gb.trapletshop.com/pilot-boat-laser-cut-wood-pack (http://gb.trapletshop.com/pilot-boat-laser-cut-wood-pack)  <:(

Just double-checked my partly built model and plans - the rear bulkhead is slightly higher, and the front bulkhead has a more pronounced v. Makes sense to me, because the bottom pieces are starting to twist and curve up towards the bow in the vicinity of the front bulkhead.

I received an extra transom, all 4 pieces for an extra boat stand, and extra fronts and sides for the 'radio box'. Better too many parts than too few! :}

Hi Mike,

I'm tagging along to see how you get on with the kit.

I built the styrene version from the free plan (which had some errors on it, which I put down to the reproduction for the magazine)

Mine's here  http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,47660.msg483402.html#msg483402 (http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,47660.msg483402.html#msg483402)

Regards,

Ray.
