Title: DIY Smoke unit?
Post by: Martin (Admin) on November 29, 2014, 03:55:11 pm

Via Email to Mayhem...

Saw your article on your model boat smoke generator. I have a Billing Smit Nederland I am working on and a diesel smoker would fit it well. I've never fancied the stench of model oil smoke so your cold smoker sounds perfect.

Are plans available to build the generator and how would I get them across the pond? Or do you market the generator and if so, is it marketed here in the states?

Thank you,

Brad

PS. Really appreciated your model pictures too. It looks like someone has the Smit Rotterdam and I thought I saw a type VII u-boat as well. I have a type XIII model just over a meter in length. The model club would jokingly pull all their boats to the dock whenever I launched. (At least I think they were joking. I hardly ever carried torpedoes!)
